delta force new season beginner guide

Delta Force new season has been out for a week and I have figured out some tricks as a veteran noob. This season has significant changes compared to before, map adjustments and weapon balance updates.

For maps, I recommend beginners prioritize learning Harbor first. The sightlines are relatively open making it harder to get ambushed. I was grinding Abandoned Factory before and kept getting destroyed by campers in every corner. Switched to Harbor and experience improved drastically. Map knowledge is crucial in this game, knowing where to hold angles and sniper positions matters more than raw aim.

Weapon choice: beginners should not rush to use sniper rifles. Strongly recommend M4A1 or AK47. M4 has good stability for midrange fights, AK hits hard but has more recoil. I run M4 with red dot sight as primary, SMG for close range backup. Always equip suppressor first to reduce detection risk.

For making money, this season added several safe zone loot spots. The power plant second floor in northwest corner has great loot but is highly contested, beginners going there are just feeding. I suggest beginners run the perimeter first, loot low risk areas to save up, get level 3 armor before taking fights. Know when to run away instead of ego challenging.

Most honest thing: I was stuck for three days with a 0.5 KD. Then a friend recommended a peiwan who carried me through duos for an afternoon and I gained 100 rating points instantly. Having a skilled player guide you makes a massive difference in learning positioning and game sense. New players wanting to improve quickly should definitely find a reliable peiwan to skip the painful learning curve.
