WZ ADC lane survival learn basics before boost

Honor of Kings ADC farm lane is the most targeted but highest late game carry role. Many ADC players complain but the role is not weak they just have not learned proper ADC fundamentals. Here are survival rules I learned from boosters.

Rule 1 First 4 minutes staying alive IS winning. ADC lane is jungler and mid priority target early. Die once and enemy ADC gains 300 gold lead. Core strategy play scared. Farm under tower. Enemy support disappears immediately retreat. River vision lost fall back to T2 range. Booster quote Better to miss a wave than give first blood. Sounds cowardly but this is standard high elo ADC play.

Rule 2 Flexible item builds. Many ADCs build the same 6 items regardless of enemy comp. Does not work in current meta. Enemy assassins Lanke Wang Ake Lan early Guardian Angel or Death Immunity. Enemy tanks Lian Po Zhang Fei early Armor Pen and Blade of Ruined King. Enemy CC heavy Zhen Ji Mo Zi Mercury Treads mandatory maybe early QSS. Builds are not fixed adapt to enemy comp and game state.

Rule 3 Teamfight positioning determines life or death. Booster showed me his replays and I noticed a pattern he is always THE LAST to enter the fight. He stays in backline or flank pokes frontline and only pushes forward to clean up after enemy assassins used skills and mages used CC. This delayed engage strategy requires patience but survival rate and damage output far exceed rushing in.

Rule 4 Economy above all. Boosters play selfish every crab contested jungle camps taken when possible solo lane farm whenever available. This is not toxic this is ADC development mindset. A farmed ADC does 40 percent plus of team damage late game so feeding ADC economy benefits the whole team.

ADC is the hardest but highest carry role. If truly stuck yiqiwan esports has ADC specialists with 70 percent plus winrates. But learn these fundamentals first so you maintain rank after boosting instead of dropping back down.
